ARTIST: I mainly work in photography and ceramics. Film photography is my passion, but in the age of technology, I've slowly started to work with digital more and more. I like to create my work around memory and the passing of time (specifically related to my own life growing up in a small town).
RESEARCHER: I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's of Fine Arts and my liscensure in Art Education in the school of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. As a student, I am constantly doing research on various teaching methods, philosophical inquiry, various contemporary artists all of which I utilize in my own work and own lesson plans.
TEACHER: Once I complete my liscensure for Visual Arts Education, I plan on trying to obtain an educator position at a High School in (or out) of the Cincinnati area. I plan to put all of the pedagogical and philosophical inquiry ideas that I have practiced during my time as a student. I plan to encourage my students to follow their own personal autonomy when creating work, and experiement with various mediums/ methods of making art.
